Kiana Williams started writing poems in middle school, where she felt that she was an outcast amongst peers. Through church, she transitioned into a speaker, where she says, “someone saw something in her that she didn’t see in herself.” She has written and performed for various churches and programs in her community. Even participated and won oratorical contest over the years. Her vivid imagery of life experiences in her poems grasp the audience attention, leaving them touched, spiritually and emotionally. Which is how her artist name ‘Soulful Vision’ transpired. Kiana is currently a student at Augusta University and an active spoken word artist in the CSRA.
