On the Family Stage at this year’s Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival, we celebrate 15 years of theatre fun with Musical Theatre Workshops!
For the past 1.5 decades, the students of Musical Theatre Workshops have been lighting up the Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival with show-stopping performances full of energy, talent, and heart. From beloved Broadway classics to toe-tapping numbers that get the whole crowd clapping along, these young performers have become a festival favorite, sharing the magic of theatre with audiences of all ages. Each performance is not just a showcase of skill, but a celebration of teamwork, creativity, and the joy that comes from storytelling on stage.
As a locally based organization, Musical Theatre Workshops has been bringing the joy of theatre to Augusta kids and teens for over 25 years! From weekly musical theatre classes (ages 5–19) to fun-filled summer camps, year-round workshops, and their big spring musicals, there’s always something exciting happening on their stage.
Their 2025–26 season is open for registration through mid-October, and students can look forward to auditioning at the end of October for our spring productions. It’s the perfect time to jump in and be part of the fun!
Along the way, students can explore workshops in acting, voice, theatrical dance, audition prep, and more. And of course, our summer camps are all about creativity, friendship, and memories that last long after the curtain falls.
