Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival returns this fall in the heart of downtown Augusta, Georgia. Named one of the South’s best festivals, this year the festival will be bigger and better than ever with an additional city block added! The festival will encompass the Augusta Common and the 600, 700, 800 and 900 Blocks of Broad Street.
We have over 100 juried Arts in the Heart Artists selling their art in the Fine Artists Market. Five Stages of non-stop entertainment include the Global Stage on the Augusta Common with cultural music and popular music, as well as an all-new Singer-Songwriter Contest. The Jazz Stage will offer Jazz, Blues, and Roots performances, while the new Soul Suite Stage will be indoors (yay! air conditioning!) and feature poetry, storytelling, acoustic music, Soul, spoken word, and improv. The popular Family Stage has been moved to a new location on the 600 Block with performances that appeal to children and families. The dynamic Community Stage features Augusta’s local talent with a wide range of musical styles. One of the Festival’s top features is the Global Food Village on the Augusta Common, that will tempt lovers of international food. It features culturally diverse booths with food from around the world. Our very popular Family Area with hands-on children’s activities, street performers and the exciting Young Artists Market is returning as well! Advance discount tickets are available on our website. There is even a VIP ticket option that provides access to seating and refreshments in the VIP tent located in front of the Global Stage.
