It’s finally here! Arts in the Heart of the Augusta Festival kicks off a weekend of art, music, food and family fun today! Don’t miss opening ceremonies at 6pm on the Global Stage, located on the Augusta Common, followed by Wayne Hoey Big Band with Russell Joel Brown. Hop over to the Community Stage to catch Vicky Grady, Goodnight Lizzy and other great local performances. The Jazz stage has our darling Babyboi tonight along with The Dusty Angels & Jordan Deshong.
Don’t miss the amazing Creative Impressions and Aerial Artistry on the Family Stage. The Soul Suite Stage has a great Friday night lineup including Blak Lam Knot and Glam Factory Fashion Show.
Our brand new Authors Lounge has national bestselling author Olivia Gaines kicking things off at 5pm, followed by a lineup of Georgia Authors all weekend long. Street performers in the Family Area include Melissa Ayala and the Bizarre magic of Cadaver today.
In between performance hopping and mandatory Fine Artists market shopping, grab some tasty eats in the Global Food Village. Germany returns! And we’re excited to have Vietnam back as well. Greece has something new on the menu and there’s soooo much to choose from that making a decision on what to eat tonight is going to be a challenge.
